I’m Raymond

I’m the Founder of The Modern CHRO.


Before launching my own business, I led the HR team for the ​largest business unit within a major real estate and ​development firm, operating as a separate company. There, I ​shaped people strategy for a leading organization in the ​industry.


I’m incredibly proud to say I’ve spent my career working inside ​the business as an operator before leading Human Resources - ​experience that helped shape my perspective on how HR ​teams should support their primary stakeholders.


That experience inspired me to share my insights with other ​senior leaders, helping them create people strategy tailored to ​the business.


I’m lucky to call New York my home base, where I live with my ​husband and our two beautiful cats. We also have special ​connections to Southern Rhode Island and Bogotá, where we ​love to spend our time and make new memories.

I hold my Masters in Human Resources from Stony Brook University, SHRM-SCP certification, and have served on the Advisory Board ​for Pace University’s Transformative Leadership program. I am also published in HR Tech Outlook Magazine. I’ve been a member of an ​independent think-tank council of CHROs from across the United States.
